Saraya opens up about a potential return to WWE.

Recently, the former AEW star and one time AEW women’s champion hinted at the possibility of returning to WWE. Last month, she announced that she would be stepping away from AEW, explaining that she didn’t feel like she fit into the company’s women’s division plans. Before her time in AEW, Saraya was known as Paige in WWE.

In a new interview with WrestleZone, Saraya shared that she hasn’t been in contact with WWE since leaving AEW.

“I haven’t really spoken to WWE since leaving AEW,” Saraya said. “People are speculating that I might be returning, especially with all the rumors circulating, but I haven’t had any talks with them—at least not at this moment.”

Saraya also touched on her focus outside of wrestling, including her podcast and acting career. She mentioned that she doesn’t want her personal brand to be negatively impacted by any future wrestling commitments.

“I’m really focusing on my podcast and acting projects right now,” she explained. “I wouldn’t want these outside endeavors to clash with my wrestling career. WWE is now more open to talent pursuing other interests, and I believe they would be understanding if I ever returned. They seem more comfortable with people having side projects and pursuing things outside the ring.”

With the recent news of Miro (Rusev) returning to WWE, a return for Saraya, formerly known as Paige, is not out of the question.
