Kamille

Former Long Time NWA Women’s Champion Reportedly Signs With AEW Over WWE

— If reports are accurate, former NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille has officially put pen to paper. Faced with interest from both WWE and AEW, fightfulselect.com asserts that Kamille has opted to align herself with AEW and has already inked a contract with the promotion, although her debut date remains uncertain.

— Kamille, who held the NWA women’s title for an impressive 812 days, entered free agency on January 1 after declining a six-month contract extension. Following her departure from NWA, multiple promotions expressed interest in acquiring her services, and she herself mentioned discussions with WWE’s Shawn Michaels. However, shortly after, she was spotted backstage at an AEW event.

— Interestingly, earlier today on Twitter/X, Kamille responded to a fan’s inquiry by stating that she had been under contract with a promotion since February, but swiftly deleted the tweet, clarifying that she misunderstood the question and meant she hadn’t attended any autograph signings since February. Regardless, it seems she will soon be #AllElite.
