— Former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Carmella is no longer under a contract with the company. Fightfulselect.com reports that the multi-time champion’s agreement with the company expired recently and WWE chose not to renew it, essentially making her a free agent.
— Carmella hasn’t wrestled for WWE in almost two years, but only for a 1.5 month period as she was inactive prior to that since 2022 giving birth to a baby and battling various health conditions, including foot drop. Carmella is married to WWE commentator Corey Graves, who himself has recently been in the news after being moved to WWE’s NXT brand.
