Thunder Rosa has an opponent for her All Elite Wrestling debut.
AEW announced via Twitter and on their official pre-show for this week’s All Out 2020 pay-per-view “go-home” episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT that NWA Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa will be making her AEW in-ring debut ahead of this Saturday’s champion versus champion showdown for the AEW Women’s Championship against Hikaru Shida tonight.
In another update, the company released the news regarding who Rosa will be competing against in her first match with the promotion on this week’s AEW on TNT program — and it’s another familiar face from the world of women’s wrestling.
Rosa will be going one-on-one against former WWE wrestler and coach Serena Deeb, formerly of CM Punk’s “Straight Edge Society” stable in WWE and more recently part of the coaching staff at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
