Apparently All Elite Wrestling isn’t interested in being in the Fred Rosser business at this time.
The pro wrestling veteran, who is best known for his run in WWE as Darren Young — one-half of the Prime Time Players tag-team alongside Titus O’Neil — took to social media on Saturday and commented to fans who asked why he hasn’t appeared for AEW.
According to Rosser, he was turned down by the promotion on multiple times.
“I get asked a lot, ‘Why not AEW?’,” wrote Rosser via his official Twitter feed earlier this weekend. “Well, I tried,” he continued, “and I was told NOPE.”
“Now once, but twice …besides AEW wasn’t my end goal it’s always been NJPW,” he added. “No matter what, don’t ever get overwhelmed and decide to throw in the towel. I’ve still got a lot of work to do!”
Rosser concluded the tweet with the hash-tag, “#BlockTheHate.”
