Friday Night Ratings: WWE Smackdown Powers to Best Audience of 2021; AEW Rampage Slips Again

— Last week’s WWE Friday Night Super Smackdown was a major hit in viewership, drawing an audience of 2.383 million – the highest of the year and the second best since April 2020. It featured not a stacked card but the return of Brock Lesnar on TV and John Cena in a dark match. In the 18-49 demographic, Smackdown pulled in a 0.65 rating, its best figure since mid July helping FOX with the night easily. Year-over-year, Smackdown is up about 2% in total viewers and almost 10% in 18-49.

— AEW Rampage airing in the 10 PM ET time slot slipped in viewership for the third straight week finishing with 670,000 viewers. In the 18-49 demographic, it also fell for the third week and settled in with a 0.27 rating to place third on the night among shows on cable.
