FTR Has “Some Business” With WWE Hall Of Famer: Dax Harwood Responds, Invites Him To AEW Dynamite

Legendary tag-team wrestler Ricky Morton of the WWE Hall Of Fame duo The Rock ‘N’ Roll Express, along with Robert Gibson, took to social media on Thursday to commend the eight men involved in the FTR & The Young Bucks vs. The Lucha Bros, The Butcher & The Blade bout at night two of AEW FYTER FEST.

This led to Dax Harwood, one-half of FTR along with Cash Wheeler, to hop on his own Twitter account to fire off a response to Morton.

Harwood would put over Morton after getting the strong praise from the veteran he respects on a high level, before going on to reference “some business” that FTR has with him and inviting him to an upcoming AEW Dynamite television shoot.

Featured below are the comments made by Ricky Morton and Dax Harwood on Twitter on Thursday and Friday.

Ricky Morton on having the freedom to speak his mind because he is not contractually tied to any individual wrestling promotion:

“I’m a contract free human being, that means, I can speak my mind. Today, wrestling is better and in a different era. One must be able to adjust to today’s time and flow. The wrestlers train harder, eat better, and they don’t have a ‘off-season.'”

Morton on watching AEW and his appreciation for the FTR & The Young Bucks vs. The Lucha Bros, The Butcher & The Blade eight-man tag-team match from night two of FYTER FEST:

“I love watching all the wrestling today, but watching AEW’s 8 man tag match, a lot of people do not understand the story they are telling in that match. It was Rembrandt painting. It was beautiful and majestic.”

Morton on what should be the objective of every pro wrestler:

“Every professional wrestler, should Inspire to entertain the one sitting at home and audience. If it weren’t for the fans, professional wrestling would not exist. #aew.”

After seeing these comments from the legendary member of The Rock ‘N’ Roll Express, one-half of AEW tag-team FTR — Dax Harwood — took to his Twitter page to post a response after re-tweeting the comments from Morton.

Harwood formally invited Morton to come attend an upcoming AEW Dynamite taping, noting he and his tag-team partner Cash Wheeler “got some business” to discuss with him.

Dax Harwood on having business with Morton to discuss at AEW Dynamite:

“Listen to this man. He’s done it all. Ricky, I think I’ll invite you & Robert to join me & Cash Wheeler at AEW Dynamite. Got some business to talk to you about.”
