A special theme will be featured on the AEW Dynamite episode taking place in two weeks from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.
The Wednesday, August 12th episode of AEW Dynamite will feature an FTR Tag-Team Appreciation Night theme. The news was announced during this week’s edition of the AEW on TNT program in a backstage segment that saw Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood formally sign their contracts with All Elite Wrestling.
Afterwards, they reportedly made the request for the special theme for AEW Dynamite in two weeks on 8/12 to AEW President Tony Khan, which was ultimately granted.
What exactly a “Tag-Team Appreciation Night” means remains to be seen, however the details will likely emerge on next week’s AEW Dynamite show.
As noted, also announced for the weekly AEW on TNT program on 8/12 is the rematch between Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy. The two will meet in a debate with a mystery moderator on the 8/5 Dynamite to build-up their rematch on the 8/12 show.
