Gable Steveson is not the next Kurt Angle.
That much he wants to make clear.
In fact, he is the first Gable Steveson.
The fellow former Olympic gold medalist, who as noted, officially signed a deal to join WWE this week, took to social media to comment on those expecting him to be the “next Kurt Angle” due to their similar backgrounds and entry into the business via the top company in the profession.
“I’m not the next Kurt Angle.. I’m Gable Steveson.. Now, Please Enjoy The Show.. Thank you!” he wrote via Twitter, which prompted fans to bring up his own Instagram page from last month where he referred to himself as “The Modern Kurt Angle.”
