As noted, Impact Wrestling Hall Of Famer Gail Kim noted via social media over the weekend that she would be undergoing surgery for appendicitis.

Kim returned to social media on Monday evening, where she posted about her appendectomy surgery being a success and noting that she expects to be released from the hospital on Tuesday morning.

“Thanks everyone for the well wishes,” wrote Kim via her official Twitter page. “Everything went as well as can be! Amazing doctor and hospital staff….. I’ll prob be home tomorrow for recovery.”

Apparently Kim originally thought she was suffering from food poisoning, however her husband, Chef Robert Irvine, encouraged her to go to the hospital.
