Bill Goldberg took to social media on Friday evening to apologize to the WWE Universe for his performance at the WWE Super ShowDown special in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Goldberg wrote on Twitter after his main event match against The Undertaker at the show, which streamed live via the WWE Network and is now available for On Demand viewing, that he feels like he let the fans down.
As he explained, though, this happened due to reasons beyond his control.
The WWE Hall Of Famer claims he knocked himself out during the match and as a result, from then on, he simply wasn’t able to perform to the level he had hoped.
“Knocked myself out and thought I could finish,” wrote Goldberg via Twitter last night. “Love my fans…..but let u down.”
Goldberg added, “Everyone else that found ‘pleasure’ ….. hope ur happy.”
