Goldberg Works Out With Muay Thai Teacher As Part Of Training For Lesnar (Photo)

While he may be just over a month away from his 50th birthday by the time he steps into the ring with “The Beast Incarnate” at next month’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view, Bill Goldberg is anything but an out-of-shape old man.

The former WCW mega-star who recently signed with WWE after more than 12 years away from the pro wrestling business took to social media on Wednesday to share footage of himself training for his big return match against Brock Lesnar at the joint-brand pay-per-view.

Featured below is a photo Goldberg posted on his official Instagram page on Wednesday that shows him after working out with Master Level Muay Thai teacher Ruben Rowell Jr. at the Affliction Clothing Training Facility in Steal City, California this week.

“Putting in some work yesterday at the [Affliction Clothing] training facility with [Ajahn Kru (Master level) Muay Thai teacher Ruben Rowell Jr.],” wrote the WCW legend this week.

As noted, Goldberg also found time to squeeze in a solid workout with Duane “Bang” Ludwig the same day he made his big return appearance live on WWE RAW, his first time appearing in a WWE ring on a WWE broadcast in well over a decade.

Many MMA fans may know the name, as “Bang” Ludwig is a former top MMA and UFC fighter, and is the owner of the true fastest knockout in UFC history (6.06 seconds). He is also currently one of the top coaches/trainers in the MMA business, responsible for helping develop T.J. Dillashaw into a World Champion in the UFC’s Bantamweight division.

Featuring the Bill Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar match, WWE Survivor Series 2016 takes place on Sunday, November 20th at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, airing live via traditional pay-per-view and the WWE Network.
