Graphic Shows WWE Attendance Surging This Year & AEW Attendance Tanking

— The Wrestlenomics X account posted a graphic earlier today summarizing ticket sales for WWE & AEW shows charted back from early 2021. The data was sourced from WrestleTix and below is a summary of tickets distributed for each show as well as WWE house shows:

  • WWE Raw: 8,000 in Q3 2021 to 12,000 in Q2 2024
  • WWE Smackdown: 9,000 in Q3 2021 to 13,000 in Q2 2024
  • AEW Dynamite: 7,000 in Q3 2021 to 3,000 in Q2 2024
  • AEW Collision: 6,000 in Q2 2023 to 3,000 in Q2 2024
  • WWE House Shows: 7,000 in Q3 2021 to 7,000 in Q2 2024

— Both WWE Raw and Smackdown have showed strong growth over the last few years, especially over the last six months. WWE house shows have been flat when comparing 2024 to 2021 but experienced a lull in the 2022 timeframe, falling to approximately 4K ticket sales. AEW Dynamite has been on a bit of a rollercoaster ride but is tanking over the last half year while AEW Collision has only been around for a year but has already lost 50% of ticket sales in that time.
