Huge Championship Match Made Official For IMPACT Wrestling’s Under Siege

This past Thursday’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling saw new IMPACT World Champion Steve Maclin, who beat KUSHIDA at last Sunday’s Rebellion to win the vacant IMPACT World Title, have a Changing of the Guard Ceremony. Maclin said that even though he is the IMPACT World Champion something is missing as he was not able to win the title from the longest-reigning IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander prior to him relinquishing the title due to injury.

Maclin then said his mission will not be completed until he defeats a Canadian in their home country, which is what he planned to do with Alexander. IMPACT World Champion Steve Maclin then issued an open challenge to any Canadian, which brought out IMPACT Wrestling President Scott D’Amore and he ended up introducing Maclin’s first challenger and that is none other than PCO. PCO took out Maclin’s personal security team, then had a face-to-face with the IMPACT World Champion, who retreated to the ramp. The IMPACT World Title Matchup between brand-new IMPACT World Champion Steve Maclin and PCO was then made official for Under Siege.

IMPACT Wrestling’s Under Siege Event is set to take place on Friday, May 26th from inside the Western Fair District Agriplex in London, Ontario, Canada. The show will air live on FITE TV, IMPACT Plus and on YouTube for Ultimate Insiders and tickets for the show are already available at Eventbrite.ca.
