Hulk Hogan Talks WWE Status With The Tampa Bay Times (3/8/2019)

Hulk Hogan Says He Will Be “Really Active” Upon Upcoming WWE Return

WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan spoke with The Tampa Bay Times following his appearance at the WrestleMania 36 press conference in Tampa, Florida earlier this week. During the interview, Hogan was asked about his WWE status.

“I’m not really sure,” Hogan told The Tampa Bay Times. “I can’t wrestle anymore because [I’ve had] nine back surgeries, two fake knees, two fake hips [and] I’ve had 17 surgeries in the last ten years. I kind of missed the memo on the ‘fake’ part [of the pro wrestling business].”

From there, “The Hulkster” spoke about the fact that when Vince McMahon decides what he wants to do with him, he will be ready to go and furthermore, he hopes to be “really, really active” when he does make his eventual comeback.

“Vince [McMahon] has this master plan. I don’t mind being the hood ornament and I don’t mind being the Babe Ruth of the promotion,” said Hogan. “But Vince is putting together a whole new thing. I still feel like I’m 20 in my head, but my body’s telling me, ‘Easy, brother.’ I’m not sure what the title is, but hopefully really soon I’ll be back and really, really active.”
