IMPACT Wrestling Emergence 2023 Results (08/27): Trinity vs. Deonna Purrazzo

IMPACT Wrestling recently held their 2023 Emergence PPV Event, which took place from inside the Rebel Entertainment Complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The show, which aired live on IMPACT Plus, FITE TV and on YouTube for the Ultimate Insiders members, saw current IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Trinity defend her IMPACT Knockouts World Title against Deonna Purrazzo in the main event.

– “Speedball” Mike Bailey def. Alan Angels in a Singles Match.

– JOYA (Joe Hendry and Yuya Uemura )def. The Good Hands (Jason Hotch and John Skyler) in a Tag Team Match.

IMPACT Emergence PPV Event:

– Eric Young def. Deaner in a No Disqualification Match.

– MK Ultra (Masha Slamovich and Killer Kelly) (c) def. The Death Dollz (Courtney Rush and Jessicka), The SHAWntourage (Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans) and Jody Threat and KiLynn King in a 4-Way Match to retain their IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Championships.

– Kenny King (c) def. Johnny Swinger to retain his IMPACT Digital Media Championship. After the match, Kenny King and Sheldon Jean continue the attack on Johnny Swinger until it’s broken up by referees, security and Tommy Dreamer. Kenny King superkicks Tommy Dreamer and the fight is on once again.

– The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel) def. SubCulture (Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster) (c) to become the new IMPACT World Tag Team Champions.

– Eddie Edwards def. Frankie Kazarian in a Back To School Match. After the match, Alisha Edwards attacks Frankie Kazarian from behind with a kendo stick. Eddie Edwards then calls. Frankie Kazarian a disappointment before shattering a picture frame over his head.

– IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA def. Jake Something in a Non-Title Match. After the match, SANADA and Jake Something shake hands in a tremendous show of respect.

– Bully Ray, Brian Myers, IMPACT X-Division Champion Lio Rush and Moose def. “The Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander and Time Machine (IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin and KUSHIDA) in an 8-Man Tag Team Match.

– Trinity (c) def. Deonna Purrazzo to retain her IMPACT Knockouts World Championship. After the match, Deonna Purrazzo congratulates Trinity on her hard-fought victory.
