It looks like the Impact Wrestling Grand Championship is no more.
On Monday, Impact Wrestling announced that they have officially dropped the Impact Wrestling Grand Championship. The storyline is that the new Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Austin Aries is unifying that championship with the Impact Wrestling Grand Championship.
Aries won the Impact Wrestling World Championship from Pentagon Jr. on last week’s episode of Impact Wrestling on Pop TV, and previously won the Impact Wrestling Grand Championship from Matt Sydal on the March 29th episode of Impact Wrestling on Pop TV.
Aries posted the following comments on social media about the Impact Wrestling Grand Championship being no more. Also below is the official announcement from Impact Wrestling.
