IMPACT Wrestling On AXS TV Recap (01/26): Golden Six Shooter Match

IMPACT Wrestling recently held the latest episode of their flagship show, where the show’s main event saw Rich Swann, Sami Callihan, Moose, Chris Sabin, Eddie Edwards and Rhino take on each other in a #1 Contender’s Golden Six Shooter Match for the IMPACT World Title.

Below are the results from the show, courtesy of IMPACTWrestling.com:

– Zicky Dice def. Carlie Bravo in a Before The IMPACT Match.

– Trey Miguel (c) def. Mike Jackson to retain his IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Championship. After the match, Trey Miguel looks for his spray paint but instead finds Crazzy Steve hiding underneath the ring. Crazzy Steve then paints Trey Miguel’s logo on himself as Black Taurus appears on the ramp and sends the IMPACT X-Division Champion scurrying.

– We then head backstage, where Gia Miller interviews IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander as he goes through the field in tonight’s Golden Six Shooter Match to determine his next challenger at No Surrender. Steve Maclin interrupts and warns John Alexander that Scott D’Amore isn’t here to protect him anymore.

– KUSHIDA and Kevin Knight def. The Good Hands (Jason Hotch and John Skyler) in a Tag Team Match.

– We then head backstage, where Gisele Shaw doesn’t seem happy about Santino Marella’s choice of who her partner will be in tonight’s Knockouts World Tag Team Title Match against the Death Dollz.

– Jordynne Grace then declares that she will be victorious in her contractually-obligated rematch for the Knockouts World Title against IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Mickie James, but Mickie James must first get through #1 Contender Masha Slamovich at No Surrender.

– Death Dollz (Jessicka and Taya Valkyrie) (c) def. Gisele Shaw and Tara to retain their IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Championships.

– Taylor Wilde then says that she sees more of Killer Kelly in her future.

– Busted Open Radio’s Dave LaGreca then tells Santino Marella that he is honored to be here in IMPACT Wrestling. Bully Ray then interrupts and criticizes Marella for not putting him in tonight’s Golden Six Shooter Match to determine Josh Alexander’s next challenger for the IMPACT World Title. Marella then said his reasoning is simple as Bully faced Alexander at Hard To Kill and lost. Bully then fires a warning shot, referencing his heinous attack on the last person to run IMPACT Wrestling Scott D’Amore.

– Gia Miller then interviews Tasha Steelz, where Steelz says that “this isn’t working”. Gia Miller then wonders if that is in reference to her recently unsuccessful alliance with Savannah Evans.

– Bullet Club (Ace Austin and Chris Bey) def. Major Players (Matt Cardona and Brian Myers) in a Tag Team Match. After the match, Joe Hendry accepts Matt Cardona’s challenge for an IMPACT Digital Media Title Match and reveals his latest music video, poking fun at the Major Players and calling them “Edge’s b****”.

– We then head backstage, where the Major Players tell Moose that they are going to take care of Joe Hendry.

– Jonathan Gresham def. Sheldon Jean in a Singles Match.

– Rich Swann def. Callihan, Moose, Chris Sabin, Eddie Edwards and Rhino in a Golden Six Shooter Match to become the new #1 Contender to the IMPACT World Title at No Surrender. After the match, The Design jump Rich Swann from behind with a brutal assault. Callihan is about to spike Rich Swann with the Cactus Driver 97 when Yuya Uemura makes his way down to ring to make the save. IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander and Frankie Kazarian then even the odds as chaos erupts in the IMPACT Zone as the show goes off the air.
