A couple of additional top-level WWE and NXT Superstars appear ready to join Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson by making a big return or debut at the IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary pay-per-view tonight.

With Gallows and Anderson announcing that they have signed with IMPACT Wrestling and will be appearing at tonight’s Slammiversary PPV in a video released this week (see below), two specific former WWE and NXT names are also expected for tonight’s big event.

EC3 and Heath Slater are the remaining two former WWE and NXT Superstars who likely signed following their respective COVD-19 cuts from the WWE talent roster, and are rumored to appear at the show later this evening.

Slater, who appeared on WWE Raw while his non-compete clause was in effect, was convinced to return by Drew McIntyre but doesn’t appear to be interested in returning to WWE and would have to use a new name if he joins IMPACT or any other promotion.

The former 3MB and Nexus member has also been releasing vignettes teasing a return for July 18th, which is the date for tonight’s Slammiversary PPV.

For his part, EC3 has been releasing videos teasing himself appearing in Ring Of Honor (ROH), All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and IMPACT Wrestling, with Slammiversary expected for his return to the promotion which airs every week on AXS TV.

IMPACT Wrestling has been playing up the mystery surrounding the buzz about a “former world champion” being among the teases and hints for multiple surprise returns and debuts at tonight’s Slammiversary 2020 show.
