Dominik Dijakovic made his in-ring return at the NXT live event in Cocoa, Florida on Saturday night.
The NXT Superstar has been on the sidelines since April 19th due to a knee injury.
Dijakovic made his surprise in-ring return at the NXT Cocoa show last night, defeating Cezar Bononi in one-on-one competition.
It was originally believed that Dijakovic would be missing more time due to the injury, however after he underwent a successful knee surgery in May, the recovery process and expected timetable for his return sped up.
Prior to going down with the knee injury back in April, Dijakovic was in line for a title shot against NXT North American Champion Velveteen Dream and was rumored to have a big featured match at the milestone NXT TakeOver: XXV live WWE Network special event.
