Ivar of the Viking Raiders tag-team took to social media on Thursday to give his WWE fans a post-surgery update on his condition after suffering a neck injury during an awkward landing on a dive spot on a recent episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.
"Little over a week post surgery, the road to recovery has begun," wrote Ivar. "I can't say thank you enough to everyone for all the love and support, it has been unbelievably humbling."
He added, "Better, Stronger, Healthier here I come!"
The tweet was in response to a tweet shared by the official Twitter feed of the Birmingham, Alabama-based establishment where he underwent the neck operation, which included a photo of the WWE Superstar alongside the surgeon who performed the operation while holding an X-ray of his neck / spine.
"Good luck to WWE superstar Ivar of the Viking Raiders on his comeback," wrote the official Andrews Sports Med Twitter feed (@AndrewsSportsMed). "Thank you for trusting in Dr. Andrew Cordover & Andrews Sports Medicine!"
