— Earlier today during MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, former WWE wrestler Jack Swagger announced that he has signed with Bellator MMA and will be debuting with the promotion in 2018 as a heavyweight.

— Swagger mentioned that he’s had aspirations of doing MMA for a long time and has been in negotiations with Bellator since the summer, but only finalized the terms of the deal this past weekend. He also added that he intends to continue his wrestling career in tandem with his MMA career as he has been on the indie scene since his WWE release.
