Jerry Lawler signed a new three-year contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) last month.
His original deal was actually a two-year contract signed in January of 2019 so it’s unclear if this is an extension or if his original contract has been replaced given that Lawler is now a more regular presence on WWE TV than initially intended.
As noted before, WWE originally brought Lawler back in an analyst type role for Raw but he has proven to be a strong addition to the team and has reportedly helped the younger commentators, especially Vic Joseph.
