Top WWE SmackDown Star Jey Uso recently spoke with Rick Ucchino of SK Wrestling, where he provided an update on the health of his brother, Jimmy Uso. Jey Uso told SK, “The only difference [as a singles competitor] is my brother is not holding that rope. He’s not in my corner, you know, but in due time, Uce, Uso Penitentiary will be opening soon.” The son of WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi continued talking about his twin brother, telling Rick “Hey, Uce, you just gotta keep your head on a swivel. He gonna be there, you know what I’m saying? It’s not paranoia, it’s The Usos.”
Jimmy Uso last competed in a Triple Threat Ladder Match against Kingston and Morrison at WrestleMania 36, where he suffered a torn ACL. That match saw Morrison secure the win and retain the SmackDown Tag Team Titles. September of last year, Jey said that Jimmy’s timetable to return is either January 2021 or February 2021.The other half of the USO’s most recently made his mark on WWE TV at the Hell in a Cell and Clash of Champions Special Events, where he threw in the towel for his brother, in order to stop their cousin Roman Reigns from viscously beat down on Jey. It will be interesting to see how the WWE will insert Jimmy into the angles currently taking place on SmackDown as Jey Uso is a heel and is part of Roman Reign’s stable.
