On the eve of Thanksgiving in the United States, WWE took to their social media channels to announce the third high-profile championship showdown between Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura.
As seen in the tweet WWE issued on Wednesday, a rematch from Saturday’s NXT TakeOver: Toronto event between Joe and Nakamura for the NXT Championship will be the main event of their upcoming debut event in Osaka, Japan.
Joe defeated Nakamura at the NXT TakeOver: Toronto event at the Air Canada Centre this past Saturday night, making history as NXT’s first-ever two-time World Champion. Nakamura will have the chance to get the championship he held before Saturday back when the two meet again on his home turf in Japan.
The big event is scheduled to take place live from the Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium (Bodymaker Coliseum) in Osaka, Japan on Saturday, December 3, 2016.
