Just as he did for season one, longtime WWE Superstar and current SmackDown Live roster member John Cena is scheduled to soon take another lengthy hiatus from WWE to film season two of “American Grit.”
Season two of the FOX reality show that stars Cena as the host is scheduled to begin production next week, and will result in the leader of the “Ce-Nation” taking at least a few months off from WWE — at least in terms of being in the storylines from week-to-week.
While Cena may still make the occasional appearance here or there, and could return for the December holiday tour like he did last year, Cena as a regular on-air character is expected to be on hold for a while.
