The WWE Universe will bear witness to the in-ring return of John Morrison on next week’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
During this week’s blue brand show, which took place on Friday, January 10th from the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana (Full Results Here), Morrison appeared as a special guest on Miz TV with his former tag-team partner, The Miz.
It was announced during the segment that Morrison will be making his return to the squared circle next week, as he will go one-on-one against one-half of the reigning WWE SmackDown Tag-Team Champions The New Day — Big E.
The match will mark the first competition for Morrison inside a WWE ring in over eight years.
