ESPN posted an interesting tweet on Monday evening.
The official Twitter feed for ESPN’s MMA channel posted a faux UFC poster with Brock Lesnar and Jon Jones facing off. The photo is accompanied by a quote from WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle’s appearance on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show on ESPN on Monday afternoon.
The tweet notes that “The Beast Incarnate” wants a crack at consensus UFC pound-for-pound king, the reigning UFC Light Heavyweight (205-lb.) champion Jon “Bones” Jones, if the UFC mega-star moves up to the Heavyweight division.
“Bones” Jones responded to the tweet, noting “Brock is way too slow, I’ll embarrass him.”
