A special announcement regarding Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage was made during night one of AEW FYTER FEST.
It was revealed during hour two of the first night of AEW’s two-week “FYTER FEST” extravaganza that the expected main event for next week’s night two special between Jon Moxley and Brian Cage has been postponed.
This was followed by the news that Moxley vs. Cage has been moved two weeks to Wednesday, July 15th, which will be the special AEW FIGHT FOR THE FALLEN 2 edition of AEW Dynamite from Daily’s Place amphitheater in Jacksonville, Florida.
After the announcement was made, Taz and Brian Cage came to the ring to cut a semi-shoot promo about the news, taking a shot at WWE in the process by pointing out that AEW gives their wrestlers COVID-19 tests at every show, so Moxley was able to make it had he chosen to, and pointing out that “unlike others, we don’t run a sloppy shop here at AEW.”
