Don’t expect to see “Good Ole’ J.R.” when WWE brings their “biggest reunion ever” to Monday Night RAW next week in Tampa, Florida.
WWE Hall Of Famer and current All Elite Wrestling (AEW) play-by-play announcer Jim Ross noted via social media on Monday that he was cordially invited to attend the RAW Reunion next Monday night by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon himself.
According to Ross, he politely declined the invitation, even though he was given permission from AEW CEO & President Tony Khan to make any decision he wants despite his ties to the rival promotion.
“Because some are asking, I was cordially invited to attend RAW Reunion by Vince McMahon but I politely refused,” wrote J.R. via his official Twitter page (@JRsBBQ) on Monday.
“Tony Khan left it up to me,” J.R. continued. “Nonetheless I hope the RAW Reunion is a ratings success.”
