Kane Announcement, Ranallo Tweets, News on Women’s Tournament

— Glenn Jacobs, better known in WWE as Kane, is expected to officially announce next week on April 11 that he’s running for Mayor of Knox County, TN. He will be running as a Republican as opposed to a Libertarian.

— Mauro Ranallo tweeted the following, seemingly in response to the controversy brewing over alleged bullying by JBL:

“Three things cannot be hidden: The sun,the moon, and the truth.” -Buddha.

— Mauro Ranallo (@mauroranallo) April 8, 2017

— For what it’s worth, WWE has released their first statement on the matter, simply confirming that Ranallo is under contract to the company until August 12 despite being off of TV.

With WWE planning their 32-person women’s tournament in May, the idea is to branch off a weekly show from the tournament to air on the WWE Network, much like they did with “205 Live”. As far as the tournament goes, WWE has reportedly locked up 90% of the talent that will be in the field.
