— Glenn Jacobs, better known as Kane in WWE, has become the next Mayor of Knox County, defeating his opponent by almost a 2:1 margin. Despite criticism, he has not ruled out returning to WWE while serving as Mayor, however, is currently sidelined with an injury to his Achilles tendon.
— Aleister Black suffered an injury at the recent NXT house show in Las Vegas, NV after being crotched on the top rope in a match against Tommaso Ciampa. Black actually had to undergo surgery and while no timetable for his return was made official, WWE reportedly expects him back in about two weeks and in time for the NXT TakeOver show.
— WWE has prohibited all their wrestlers in the U.K. division from taking any indie bookings seven days prior to an upcoming live event in the U.K.
— WWE announced a new book called “Creating the Mania: An Inside Look at How WrestleMania Comes to Life.” Authored by Jon Robinson, it will be released on Tuesday by ECW Press and will take a look at how the storylines were come up with.
