NXT Superstar Goes Down With Broken Leg At NXT Atlanta

Karen Q Suffers Injury At NXT Atlanta, X-Ray Released & Photos Of Her At Hospital

Another NXT Superstar bit the dust this weekend, as Karen Q suffered a broken leg during her tag-team match at the NXT Atlanta event on Saturday night.

Karen Q worked alongside Bianca Belair in a tag-team match, defeating the team of Rhea Ripley and Reina Gonzalez, but going down with a legitimate injury in the process.

As soon as the injury spot happened, the referee of the match threw up the dreaded “X” gesture and the wrestlers in the match immediately “went home” (ended the match), with Belair scoring the pin for her team.

After the match, Karen Q had to be carried to the backstage area by the referee and two other NXT personnel.

Following the show, the NXT Superstar took to social media to write about the injury, which she confirmed to be a broken leg.

“Unfortunately, I won’t be able to finish the #NXTRoadTrip,” Karen wrote. “I’m so proud of the matches I had this weekend and I’m grateful to have the best family, friends and coworkers!”

She continued, “My leg is broken, but I’ll be back! Thanks to all who have reached out and showed me love #HoldMyDrinkIllBeBack.”

Additionally, Karen Q posted photos of the X-ray of her broken leg, as well as a picture of herself in a wheelchair leaving the hospital.

Check those out, along with a video and photo of the injury spot in the ring below.
