The slow-build to an eventual showdown between two super-freak athletes continued on Wednesday morning following an interesting statement released about WWE Champion Brock Lesnar by NXT North American Champion Keith Lee.
“Often I’m asked why I smile/smirk so much,” wrote Lee along with a photo of a stare down between he and “The Beast Incarnate” from the Men’s Rumble Match at WWE Royal Rumble 2020 this past Sunday. “Simplest answer I can offer is that I love top level competition.”
The reigning, defending North American Champion of WWE’s black-and-gold brand continued his Twitter statement by making it clear that he intends to stand across the squared circle from the former UFC Heavyweight Champion for a one-on-one showdown.
“And this? It’s the highest,” he said of the aforementioned picture. “I was enthralled. Who knows what would have happened 1 on 1? I hope to one day find out.#FirstOfMyKind #Leegion #BaskInMyGlory #iAmLimitless.”
