The road to the upcoming NXT TakeOver: Thirty (NXT TakeOver: XXX) live special event during WWE SummerSlam 2020 weekend on August 22 continued on this week’s episode of WWE NXT.
Keith Lee took to social media to call out Karrion Kross after this week’s edition of WWE NXT went off-the-air.
Following Wednesday night’s episode of NXT on USA, the reigning NXT World Champion Keith Lee took to Twitter to send a message to Kross.
“Still you refuse to come to the source when I cordially invited you,” wrote ‘The Limitless One’ immediately after the July 29th episode of the weekly WWE NXT television show. “Kross…face me, like the man you “pretend” to be.”

Lee was featured on this week’s WWE NXT show in an in-ring promo segment where he addressed Kross attacking Dominik Dijakovic on the July 22nd episode of NXT On USA.
He would go on to accept the challenge laid out by “The Herald of Doomsday”, even claiming Kross could pick the time, date and place of their title match.
Also addressing the Lee-Kross situation on this week’s black-and-gold brand program was the NXT General Manager himself, William Regal. The NXT G.M. stated that despite Kross attempts to bully his way into a championship match, he will have to earn it like everyone else.
While still unofficial, it is believed that Keith Lee vs. Karrion Kross will take place for the NXT World Championship at the upcoming milestone NXT TakeOver: XXX special event during WWE SummerSlam weekend on Saturday, August 22, 2020.
