At the DDT show on Thursday morning in Japan, a special video from Kenny Omega aired.
The event featured Michael Nakazawa’s DDT promotional “farewell,” with it being announced on the Being The Elite YouTube series earlier this month that he is joining the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) promotion.
In the video that aired during Thursday morning’s show, Omega said that those at AEW never forget where they came from, himself included. Omega announced that Nakazawa will still be allowed to work with DDT and that fans of the promotion will likely see him again in the future.
Omega, who worked for the DDT promotion himself prior to signing with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) in 2014, also teased a potential future return to the promotion.
“Who knows, maybe in the future you’ll even see me too,” said Omega in the video about the possibility of returning to DDT in person in the future.
