Kenny Omega’s AEW Contract Extended Several Months Due to Injury Time

– Amid rumors that he may be one of the wrestlers that WWE could possibly target this year, Kenny Omega’s contract with AEW has been extended due to the time he was inactive while recovering from injury.

– In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it was reported that Omega signed a four-year contract back in February 2019 with no add-on-year options but a company option to add time to the deal to account for inactivity. Omega was out for a total of nine months so that would be the maximum time that AEW could add, taking his original February end date to November, however, it isn’t clear if AEW has added the full amount or only some portion of it.
