KENTA vows to take the IWGP United States Championship off of Jon Moxley and become the first Japanese wrestler to hold the title.
The former WWE Superstar and current New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) star and member of the Bullet Club recently spoke with Kevin Kelly to talk about his upcoming title match against the reigning champion at the NJPW STRONG show scheduled for Friday, February 26, 2021.
Featured below is an excerpt from the new Kevin Kelly interview with KENTA where he talks about his IWGP U.S. Title showdown against Jon Moxley on the 2/26 episode of NJPW STRONG.
“I’m the best person who represents New Japan Pro-Wrestling to the world. I deserve to be the first-ever Japanese IWGP United States Champion. Moxley, it took you a long time to show up, I’ve been defending that damn briefcase for months. It got broken once, too! But finally, finally our time has come. We’ll finally fight for the IWGP US Heavyweight Title that you’ve been letting rot all this time.”
