WWE SmackDown Star Kevin Owens is a huge fan of NXT Tag Team Ever-Rise and he has even praised them a number of times and has gone on record to say that he really admires them. Owens has also said he has a lot of respect for Ever-Rise and that they are two entertaining guys who you can tell have been pro wrestling fans their whole lives and that they will be everyone’s favorite tag team.

Kevin Owens has even endorsed Ever-Rise by wearing their merchandise on Friday Night SmackDown. Owens recently spoke with Ryan Satin of FOX Sports about possibly bringing Ever-Rise to SmackDown with him. Kevin Owens said yeah, of course, whether Ever-Rise becomes his backup or not, they would be great on the show. Owens then said they are very entertaining guys and they’re really solid in the ring and he thinks they could bring a breath of fresh air to the tag team division.

Kevin Owens said, “Yeah, of course.” “I mean, whether it’s my backup or not, I think they’d be great on the show. Or even on RAW, you know? They’re very entertaining guys. They’re really solid in the ring and I think they could bring a breath of fresh air to the tag team division. So, I really don’t see why they wouldn’t do really good if they were to come to Smackdown or RAW.” “I’ve tried to do my little part to get them a little bit of some buzz. I wore their little shirt on Smackdown the other day. Even Roman chirped back at them on Twitter and stuff like that.”

Owens then talked about Ever-Rise being good guys and it would be selfishly for him, but he’d love to have them around, just because they are some of his closest friends in wrestling.
