Former WWE Universal Champion and now, the former WWE United States Champion Kevin Owens took to social media on Monday afternoon to comment on losing his U.S. title to Chris Jericho at Sunday night’s WWE Payback pay-per-view.

Owens who along with Jericho is now on the SmackDown Live brand following the first-ever WWE Superstar Shakeup, wrote the following on his official Twitter page earlier today:

“What happened last night is disgusting and unfair. Jericho let his inner U.S. citizen side take over and cheated to steal my title. I genuinely feel bad for whoever stands in my way tonight in Stockton and tomorrow in Fresno at the #SDLive events. It won’t end well.”
