Apparently the current king of the blue brand is dealing with an injury heading into Sunday’s WWE Extreme Rules 2019 pay-per-view.
Kofi Kingston missed the WWE non-televised SmackDown Live house show in Glens Falls, New York on Monday evening due to what is being described as a ‘minor back injury.’
Kingston was also kept out of action at last night’s WWE Extreme Rules 2019 “go-home” episode of WWE SmackDown Live, however he is expected to be good to go for Sunday’s PPV, where he is scheduled to defend his WWE Championship against Samoa Joe in one of the co-main events of the show.
WWE Extreme Rules 2019 takes place this Sunday, July 14th, LIVE on pay-per-view and streaming on the WWE Network from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
