— Kurt Angle’s recent tweet announcing that Enzo Amore would not be participating in the upcoming Mixed Match Challenge was completely misunderstood by the online community. 

— While it was being reported that Angle himself would be replacing Enzo in the tournament, that is not what the company intended it to mean.  Instead, the tweet is supposed to mean that Angle is being forced to replace Enzo with a yet-to-be-named participant.  

— The exact statement was “(Enzo) has the flu and thus I must replace him in the Mixed Match Challenge (with someone else).”

— For what it’s worth, Enzo is actually now cleared to return to action from the flu and the tournament itself is still two weeks away from beginning so the decision to pull him was due to some other reason.
