WWE held their latest episode of WWE SmackDown last Friday night from inside the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, where the storyline and the problems within The Bloodline continued, a Fatal 4-Way #1 Contender’s Matchup took place to determine the next challenger for the WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER and reigning Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) defended their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships against Braun Strowman and Ricochet.
Internal WWE live event reports indicated that last Friday’s episode of SmackDown became the highest-grossing event in the Connecticut market in company history. Fightful.com’s Sean Ross Sapp would then take to his Twitter account and confirm the huge news.
