— Last night’s WWE Monday Night Raw underwent extensive re-writes for the second straight week but not for the same reasons. Unlike the episode seven days ago which was revamped due to Vince McMahon’s feedback and influence, yesterday’s show was affected by major travel issues affecting up to half the roster. It was significant enough that WWE had announcer Corey Graves allude to it on air.
— Pwinsider.com reports that one source told them that “half the roster” had trouble getting into Seattle but another source said it wasn’t that severe. Regardless, some talent were not expected to make it to the show while others were expecting to arrive while Raw was already on air with their scheduled segments considered to be last minute additions. Dave Meltzer noted on Twitter that “a large percentage of the roster wasn’t there, some weren’t going to make it and others were getting in late so a lot of changes and backup plans were put in place in recent hours.” Fightfulselect.com reported that Matt Riddle, Miz, Sami Zayn and Bianca Belair were all scheduled to appear on the show but were pulled initially. Zayn and Riddle arrived late just moments before their segment while others arrived in Seattle and then were told they weren’t needed.
— For those wondering, as expected, Vince McMahon was not physically at WWE Raw, but was providing input and feedback remotely.
