Earlier this month, it was reported that former AEW World Champion MJF was wrapping up filming for a movie titled “Violent Night 2.” However, there was no clear indication at that time regarding when he would be returning to AEW television.
According to Fightful Select, sources have indicated that MJF will return “soon,” although a specific date has not been provided. The report also mentioned that MJF is included in AEW’s plans for December, but it remains unclear how frequently he will appear for the company.
This year, MJF has been busy with his acting career, having filmed both “Violent Night 2” and “Happy Gilmore 2.” He is said to have really enjoyed acting and intends to continue pursuing it. MJF plans to balance his acting commitments with his wrestling schedule.
His last match for AEW took place at All Out 2025, where he lost to Mark Briscoe. MJF is also scheduled to participate in WrestleCade, which will occur from November 28th to November 30th.
