Could “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels be returning for another out-of-retirement match at next month’s WWE SummerSlam 2019 pay-per-view?
It doesn’t seem likely at this point.
As far as Dolph Ziggler’s plans for the show, those aren’t exactly clear just yet either.
Ziggler is expected to wrestle at the WWE SummerSlam 2019 PPV, but current creative plans are not for it to be against The Miz or even Shawn Michaels as was recently teased, according to a report by Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Michaels is not expected to be wrestling again anytime soon and the chances of him returning for a match at WWE SummerSlam 2019 is “definitely off the table.”
WWE SummerSlam 2019 is close to sold out and the cheapest secondary market tickets available are priced at $127.50, with approximately 1,700 seats remaining as of a couple of days ago.
For NXT TakeOver: Toronto the night before the WWE SummerSlam 2019 PPV, the event is not even close to a sellout, including 1,000 secondary market tickets with a low price of $32.
WWE SummerSlam 2019 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 11th from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The show will air live via traditional pay-per-view, and will also stream on the WWE Network.
