As previously reported, there is uncertainty surrounding Britt Baker’s current status with AEW. Since the former AEW Women’s World Champion resides in Florida, there is a possibility she could make an appearance on WWE NXT to help bolster that brand.

Many fans expected Baker to appear at Dynamite’s Fifth Anniversary Show on October 2, 2024, at the Peterson Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, given that Pittsburgh is her hometown. However, fans were ultimately disappointed when she did not show up.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Baker has removed all mentions of AEW from her social media. When she was absent from the Pittsburgh show, Dave Meltzer noted that this indicated she might not be used in AEW again. The report also mentioned that AEW believed Baker was heading to WWE. Meltzer speculated that if she does transition to WWE, she would likely receive a strong initial reaction from the crowd but might face challenges in the long run due to differences in wrestling styles between AEW and WWE.

As of now, there is no information regarding whether Baker will join WWE, remain with AEW, or continue wrestling at all. Updates will be provided as they become available. Baker’s last appearance in All Elite Wrestling was on November 13, 2024, during an episode of Dynamite, where she dismissed Serena Deeb by stating “nobody cares” toward her and the camera. She has not been on AEW television since then.
