Recently re-signed WWE star Santos Escobar was expected to appear on last Monday night’s episode of RAW at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Many fans speculated that the recent teaser videos, which turned out to be promotional for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, might indicate Escobar’s return to the company. However, he did not appear on the show.
According to PWInsider.com, while Escobar was not seen on the broadcast, he was present backstage at RAW.
Escobar’s WWE contract expired on October 7, but he re-signed with the company just one day later. This timing has led to speculation that WWE may be planning to reintroduce him in an ongoing storyline or possibly move him to RAW’s active roster.
The last time Escobar competed for WWE was at the AAA x WWE Worlds Collide event in June, where he, along with Berto and Angel, faced El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown in a 6-Man Tag Team Match. Legado Del Fantasma emerged victorious in that match. There are no updates yet on when Escobar will make his official return to WWE, but more information will be provided as it becomes available.
