Latest Update On WWE’s Plans For WrestleMania 43 And Crown Jewel In Saudi Arabia

According to Fightful Select, sources familiar with the situation regarding Saudi Arabia indicate that there are plans to make next year’s WrestleMania 43 as grand as possible. It was reported that representatives from Saudi Arabia visited WWE Headquarters a few weeks ago to initiate discussions about the upcoming event.

There has been speculation about WWE potentially postponing the Crown Jewel event, scheduled for November 7th, due to escalating tensions in the Middle East amid the conflict with Iran. However, the report states that construction for Crown Jewel is set to begin this week in Riyadh at the temporary outdoor venue, Riyadh Seasonal Stadium.

The sources also suggested that the announcement for WrestleMania 43’s date may come around the time of Crown Jewel, if not sooner. A WWE insider mentioned that the delay in announcing the WrestleMania date is attributed to its coordination with the Saudi Arabia event. Additionally, several independent wrestling promotions are awaiting the WrestleMania 43 date reveal to determine if they can plan their own shows during that significant weekend, especially since the major event will not take place in the U.S.
