The road to Wrestlemania is drawing closer by the day, as 37th edition of the “show of show’s” rapidly approaches. So far, WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is taking on Drew McIntyre at the event. Another singles title will be defended when the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble match winner, and “EST of WWE” Bianca Belair clashes with “The Boss” Sasha Banks, for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. We also learned this past Monday that Omos and AJ Styles will face off with the New Day for the Raw Tag Team Championships.
The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer recently spilled the beans on his most recent updates about rumored matches for the rest of the card, and explained:
“Other matches seemingly earmarked for the shows are Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler vs. Street Profits for the Smackdown tag titles, Randy Orton vs. The Fiend in some type of gimmick match, Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair for the Raw women’s title, Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro and Bad Bunny & Damian Priest vs. The Miz & John Morrison”.
Meltzer also added that either Roman Reigns or Daniel Bryan will face off against Edge at Wrestlemania, which is kind of a no brainer at this point. Dave said:
“Roman Reigns or Daniel Bryan vs. Edge for the Universal Title”.
